Our History

Alpax was founded when the Dutch group ING decides to close most of its investment banking operation in Latin America. The M&A group for the region, based in New York, takes the initiative to continue contributing their knowledge and professionalism in the sector. Thus, Alpax started its activity in 2003, transfering their headquarters to Miami and opening regional offices in Buenos Aires, Quito and Asuncion and most recently in Bogotá.

Today, Alpax has more than 25 professionals in the region, with experience in various industries. Our Senior bankers, with over 60 years of combined experience in investment banking will always be involved in our processes, ensuring better chances of success. Alpax has successfully closed over 100 transactions in M&A and Fundraising in the region above the amount of $3,000 million.

Positioning itself as a leading franchise in mergers, acquisitions and lift capital in several countries; and strengthening close relationships with several multilateral organizations (IFC, IDB, IIC, CAF, Bladex) and investment funds operating in these regions.
